Hello, and welcome to the Enfamil A+ 2 Learn and Grow for Growing babies series. “Crawling” is a game that helps develop your baby’s motor skills at 7 months. It provides many benefits for your baby, including promoting body part awareness, encouraging independent movement, and exploring the environment, as well as developing balance, favouring the development of sight and touch, and stimulating the trunk and limb independence. Ready to start? Place your baby on the floor or a bed. Sit down in front of your little one, and then grab their favourite toy and start moving it around, encouraging them to move their waist. If your baby is able to get into a crawling position, repeat the exercise, moving the toy around on the floor and through the air. You can also try demonstrating the proper position to help your child learn! Move back and forth, encouraging your baby to mirror your movements. Repeat the exercise several times. This game will help teach your child the necessary hip movements for crawling. Gradually, they will get better and better at moving around with ease and enthusiasm.
